August - Papa's birthday

We ventured down to the lake again to celebrate Papa's birthday.  The first day we played on the lake.  Alice took her first tube ride, and loved it.

The next day, we all took it easy.  Becky made a delicious BBQ dinner for us, and cake which tasted delicious.  Happy Birthday Papa.  It was actually so warm, that we stayed inside because we so sunned out.

July 2012

July included lots of fun as well.  We started off the month at Wild waves, but this time we brought the Blake's and Fleming's.  It wasn't super warm, but we had a great time and followed it up with some Red Robin.  A few days later we went back and saw the sea lion show which was very cute.
We spent the 4th of July at the Blake's house and it was a lovely day.  Beautiful weather, yummy tin foil dinners, a campfire, and some fireworks.  The kids had a great time together playing outside, throwing water balloons at the Dads and playing with the kitty's.  I am sad that I didn't take a single picture, but it was still a wonderful day.

We spent some time with the Lybberts helping Mandee do her Jam.  Once again Grandpa bought WAY too many strawberries, so our help was appreciated.  It was again another great day, so after the jam, we played outside.

We got to have the Poe clan over for Garrett's Birthday.  Becky made these great monster cupcakes which were a hit with all young and old.

We got to go visit dusty's cousin Hannah in the hospital when she had her baby.  Alice wanted to stop here and pick some flowers.

We went out to dinner with Lybbert's for Grandpa's birthday and the Henry's were in town too.  Here are Alice, Rodrick and Gabriel.
We had a pioneer day picnic at church and Alice loved the playground, and these girls were so sweet to play with her.

We have also gotten to spend time at the Lake.  Alice loves the water!

We finished out the month with Camping at Banks Lake.  The weather was beautiful, the company was great, and the activities were amazing.  This was the only picture I got, but trust me, it was awesome.

June 2012

June was also a great month.  Here are some pictures.  It will filled with parks, at home days, jam making, and last but not least spending some time with David and saying goodbye as he was set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He is now in Brazil at the MTC and doing great.

May 2012

In May, we kind of recuperated from the mega family gatherings and caught up on some things at home.  We had a few sunny days, and spent them at some parks,

Played with some friends.  She loves these girls!
Introduction to makeup.  This was hilarious, and all the girls looked like clowns

We spent Mother's day with some friends, and then to Aunt Mary's with the family.  We got to play outside on a lovely day

Daddy went spear fishing (using a spear gun while scuba diving) and brought home a couple ling cod.  We are still enjoying them.  Yum!
