2012 - Looking Ahead

2011 was a busy year.  We started off pretty good, then Summer was a bit crazy and we were gone most of it.  Then we followed up with a fall full of family resulting from the death of Dusty's mother, and the holidays have not let us slow down at all.  Amidst all of the excitement, our little baby turned into a girl.

As we look ahead into the new year, we want to slow down a little.  Spend a bit more time as a little family, just the three of us.  We have some health goals, spiritual goals, and some house goals, but overall, we want to be able to enjoy our family because it is going by fast and our little girl is growing up.  We don't want to miss it by being too busy.

One of my goals this year is to blog better.  We just moved our church time to 9:00.  This enables us to go to church, come home and eat lunch and have Alice nap.  This is a great improvement since she didn't get naps last year on Sundays.  I plan to blog about once a week, and will probably do it on Sunday while she is napping.

We are excited to get into better routines that include eating better, exercise, and a goal of a half marathon sometime this summer.
